How to reach us
From Mestre train station: go to the exit Marghera through the underpass, on via FratelliBandiera; take the ACTV bus number 53 to Dolo/Padova (you can buy the ticket at the train station), and get off at DOLO CENTRO. Cross the street and enter via del Vaso (on the right). Go straight for 900 meters: Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
From Padua train station: buy the ticket at the ticket office; keeping the train station behind you, the bus terminal is on your left. Take the ACTV bus number 53 to Mestre or Venice. Get off at DOLO CENTRO and enter via del Vaso (on the right). Go straight for 900 meters: Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
From the Milano-Venezia highway (A4): exit at Dolo-Mirano; follow the directions to Dolo Centro; once in Dolo, at the second traffic light (you will see the church on your right and the Brenta river in front of you) turn left on the state highway 11. At the next traffic light (about 100 meters) turn right into via del Vaso on the bridge crossing the Brenta river (towards Camponogara).Go straight for 900 meters: Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
From Padua along SR11: once in Dolo, at the second traffic light turn right into via del Vaso on the bridge crossing the Brenta river (towards Camponogara).Go straight for 900 meters: Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
From Vencie along state highway 11: once in Dolo, at the first traffic light turn leftinto via del Vaso on the bridge crossing the Brenta river (towards Camponogara).Go straight for 900 meters: Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
You can rent a car at the Venice airport, take the freeway and follow the directions to Venice. Take the Milano-Venezia highway (A4) towards Padua. Exit at Dolo-Mirano. Then see the “By car” section.
From the Treviso airport take the ATVO shuttle to the Mestre train station. By car, take the A27 highway towards Venice, then the A4 highway towards Venice.Exit at Dolo-Mirano. Then see the “By car” section.
Location and attractions
The Riviera del Brenta, where Casa a Colori Venezia is located, is a land with many distinctive facets: beautiful venetian villas, picturesque rural glimpses, renowned shoe industry.
Midway between Padua and Venice, and about one hour driving from art cities like Vicenza and Verona, Casa a Colori Venezia is a convenient starting point for long and interesting historical and artistic itineraries, enjoyable even by bike.
As for the evocative venetian villas along the Riviera del Brenta, we highly recommend a visit to the monumental Villa BarchessaValmarana, and to the villas from Palladio: Villa Foscari, known as La Malcontenta, UNESCO heritage, and Villa Pisani in Stra, with its scenographic garden.
From the bus stop on the SR11, in just 20 minutes by bus, you can get to the bridges and calle of beautiful Venice, an unforgettable timeless place.
